The Indian Health Department (Ministry of Ayush, Government of India) has published a thorough review of the safety of Ashwagandha root. The safety report is authored by 22 specialists, doctors, and professors and is a summary of the many hundreds of published studies on Ashwagandha root up to June 2024. The report is a response to the incorrect risk assessment made in Denmark in2020.
